Abstract

Technical education is a modality in secondary education. Its main goal is to contribute to job training and to prepare for higher education. This type of secondary school comes up to be mandatory since the passing of the National Education Law (LEN, 2006). It is therefore important to analyse the institutional daily life, so to assure that right to education. In this respect, this paper aims to describe the links between the professional practice system, in technical schools located in North Patagonia, and territories. In order to address this, interviews with teachers and students from two technical schools, carried out during 2021, are analysed. They contribute to a major project carried out by the Instituto Patagónico de Estudios en Humani- dades y Ciencias Sociales.
